Το εξάνιο είναι οργανική ένωση με μοριακό τύπο C6H14. Το χημικά καθαρό εξάνιο, στις «κανονικές συνθήκες περιβάλλοντος», δηλαδή σε θερμοκρασία 25 °C και υπό πίεση 1 atm, είναι άχρωμο και άοσμο υγρό, με (κανονική) θερμοκρασία βρασμού περίπου 70 °C.
